This includes endeavors to alleviate traffic congestion, enhance public transportation, and advocate for sustainable and active modes of transport like cycling and walking. The organization actively promotes the development of innovative technologies and business models aimed at enhancing the efficiency, accessibility, and environmental sustainability of urban mobility. Consequently, the EXCEL Winter School stands as one of the impactful projects under the umbrella of EIT Urban Mobility.
Program
The winter school comprises an online preparatory week in January 2024, followed by an in-person study visit in Gozo, Malta, from 12th to 16th February 2024. The program covers travel, accommodation, and meals, offering participants an immersive and hands-on experience.

Online Week
The online preparation before the study trip will focus on developing entrepreneurial skills among the participants. The aim is to equip them with the necessary knowledge and mindset to effectively identify and capitalize on entrepreneurial opportunities in the field of urban mobility.

Study Visit
The objective of the in-person training in Malta & Gozo is to provide students with practical experiences, expert guidance, and networking opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills in urban mobility innovation and entrepreneurship. The program will consist of challenge-based learning, site visits, workshops, lectures, mentoring sessions, and a pitching event.
